We are so excited about the official opening of “The Giving Room” at NES.
“We have put together a room under our gym that is serving as a donation room. We call it The Giving Room. We would like it to serve the needs of our kids and their families.” -Mrs. Lara Wooten
Ideally, when a teacher recognizes a need, they can assist a student in browsing The Giving Room to fulfill that need.
The Giving Room would not be possible without monetary and tangible donations. We owe a special thank you to Amanda Bivens, Megan Brock, Gary Criswell, and Kelly Bowser for helping this project get off the ground.
Mrs. Lara Wooten, the mastermind behind the The Giving Room, says, “The Lord put this project on my heart a couple of years ago, and I have since learned that there are at least 3 other schools in our system that have a similar room (Three Oaks, Holice Powell, and Northview). I believe He is working through our system… I’ll always try to make prayerful decisions regarding its use and upkeep.”
