At Newbern Elementary School, our mission is to create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where every student is inspired to learn and grow. We are committed to fostering positive self-esteem, personal responsibility, and the confidence that comes from experiencing success—preparing our students not only for the classroom, but for life beyond it.

We proudly serve more than 590 students from Pre-K through 5th Grade, drawing from both the town of Newbern and the surrounding unincorporated areas of Dyer County. Together, we build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
