In 2010, I graduated Cum Laude from The University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Science in Education K-6 with a 4-8 add-on endorsement.

In August of 2013, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arkansas State University with a Master of Science in Educational Theory and Practice.

In August, I will start my Educational Specialist in Principalship at Arkansas State Unviersity.

Upon graduation from The University of Memphis in December of 2010, I took a position as a 4th grade teacher at Trenton Elementary School. The following year I taught 4th grade Reading and Language Arts at TES. I then moved to Dyer County. This is my fifth year at Newbern Elementary teaching 4th grade Reading and Language Arts.  I love teaching 4th grade at NES!

Hello! I found myself in Dyer County after I married my high school sweetheart, Dru. We graduated from Milan High School together in 2006.  Dru works at Jimmy Sanders Inc. in Ripley as an Outside Sales Representative. I have always had a passion for learning and teaching others. Other than children, my passion in life is animals. My husband and I do not have any children, but we do have a house full with 4 cats and 6 dogs. All of my pets are rescue animals. We recently purchased a farm and now have 13 (and counting) goats and 1 donkey. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the river, and traveling on the Harley.
